Hi everybody, wanted to share my story.
For many years I have been struggling with excess weight. And specifically - already 10th year. And I lose this fight... I used BADs, practised exhausting workouts, and tried fast and long-term diets. And recently, I started taking Ozempic. It’s been about three weeks, so I can write my Ozempic review with a clear conscience.
Six months ago, I suddenly gained weight (about 20 kilograms). The reason was a hormonal failure. Now, insulin resistance has been added to my list of health problems. The doctor looked at my tests and ordered me Ozempic. This is the beginning of my Ozempic weight loss story.
I started with a dose of 0.25mg per week. The doctor showed how to properly administer the injection and how to administer the dosage. The first injection was on Friday evening, and the next morning the side effects began. It started with the stomach. My stomach ached; I felt just sick without cramps. Just dull aching pain. And after eating and on an empty stomach. The feeling is disgusting - I want to eat, but I fear I will feel bad after eating. The doctor said my body needs to get used to the drug.
A couple of times, I threw up. But I decided to continue because I lost weight well. In three weeks, I managed to lose 10 kilograms. So after three weeks, I increased the dose to 0.5mg weekly. My stomach began to hurt even more. Such charms as burping and heartburn began to appear. In all my life, I did not suffer like this! In the end, I went to ultrasound the abdomen, and the doctors said I had pancreatitis!!!!
So Ozempic's pros and cons in my case are as follows. Pros: weight-loss effect ( I’ve dropped 10 kg). Cons: side effects and probably a reason for pancreatitis.
