Taste changes

Hello everyone. I’ve been on Ozempic for about two months. It’s working!
I have noticed that nothing tastes good anymore. I’m sure that other people have experienced this side effect.
I’m wondering if this side effect goes away in time.

Hi, Pat. Welcome to the forum. Yes, you're right. One of the "side effects" is indeed a change of taste. I have read some stories of other people who experienced this effect at the beginning. In my opinion, it is a good thing if it helps you change your eating habits; that's what it's supposed to do, right? Although, I personally have experienced a general lack of interest in food. I just wasn't that much hungry as before I started my treatment. Can't say if your side effect will go away in time, we should see what other people comment about it. Does absolutely nothing taste good for you? What about the results? Do you feel comfortable sharing it with us?

Hello Violet. Thank you for your reply.
I too have experienced a general lack of interest in food. That being said, I have lost thirty pounds in the last month using Ozempic and Stanford hospitals medical diet plan.
Very few things taste good. Tabasco sauce helps, LOL. I miss my morning coffee.
Coffee tastes terrible!

The coffee, yes! It reminded me of the time I had covid((( when I realized my usual aromatic coffee tasted like simple, warm, sweet water, and instead of my favorite omelet, it was like I had just a squishy something that was absolutely flavorless!
Your results though, WOW, congratulations! I hope your food will taste good again soon, because it seems the medicine works pretty well.
