Hi, yes I have, unfortunately(
I started in April 2022 on .50 for the first 3 weeks and then all of a sudden my appetite was back bad so I called the dr and he upped my dosage to 1. I had constipation for about 3 weeks and that for me was the worst! I guess it's fair to say the higher dosage caused this side effect since I had none on 0.5, only the nausea, exhaustion and (pardon me) diarrhea. I did, however, managed to get rid of it over time. Beetroots, prunes, different juices...still not sure what exactly helped))

I am on my 2nd week of 1 mg. and having a bit a nausea, which I had not experienced much on the other doses. I chew on crystallized ginger and it seems to resolve quickly. I did read somewhere else that not drinking fluids 30 mins. before or after meals can help and I am trying that.

Hello friends! How are you doing? It's been a while since your posting.

@Jodiegf I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing side effects after changing your Ozempic dosage from 0.5 to 1. I can understand how concerning and uncomfortable these symptoms must have been for you. While I'm not a medical professional, I can try to offer some general information. It's not uncommon for some individuals to experience gastrointestinal issues when starting or adjusting their medication dosages. However, it's essential to recognize that everyone's response to medication can be different, and what you're experiencing might not be the same for others.

In regards to your specific concerns, abdominal cramps, gas, and diarrhea can indeed be potential side effects of Ozempic. These side effects are usually more likely to occur when you first start using the medication or when you change the dosage. However, they can often improve or disappear over time as your body adjusts to the new dose. I hope you didn't have these effects for too long, and feeling okay by now 🤗

Please do not hesitate to talk to your doctor about any unpleasant reactions in your body.

Take care
